TalkTV’s Peter Cardwell is joined by Osman Waheed, who pays tribute to his close friend Shahzada Dawood and his son, Suleman, who were on board the Titan submersible.
British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada, 48, and student Suleman, 19, died on the vessel alongside French submersible pilot Paul-Henri Nargeolet, chief executive of OceanGate Expeditions Stockton Rush, and British billionaire and pilot Hamish Harding.
Debris were found on Thursday on the North Atlantic Ocean sea floor around 1,600ft from the bow of the Titanic. The US Coast Guard has said that the sub suffered a catastrophic implosion.
Speaking of his friend, Osman says: “He meant so much to so many people. It will take us a long time to get over this.”
