suggestions welcome, we just want to make it as helpful as possible. We've kept the price extremely low as we tried to put all the annoyingly expensive add on items all into one package for the average everyday hot rodder. Were just two rednecks that both work during the day and have normal lives, so be patient with us. A few out in the wild, but more on that later. Were taking submissions for beta testers here: thecarbcheater.com/BetaTesterApplication.php OR, should we NOT move forward and just keep it amongst friends and family. A lot of work on our part, and with making it affordable for outside folks, its not like were making any money here - just our contribution to the automotive community.

In the 1980s Mitsubishi was putting Mikuni feedback carbs on their four cylinder engines. They were an actual carburetor with a low pressure fuel delivery (not TBI, no kind of "injector") but used an oxygen sensor and a variable air channel to adjust AFR continually. In retrospect they're really clever, but back then none of us had any idea how they worked and nobody would touch one. Today with what I know I'd have no problem.

@@shoveI GM did the same with quadrajets in the '80s, but they had narrow band afrs and the computer had a very narrow running area so they did not work well on non stock engines without a reprogram, which almost nobody offered or did, so they all got tossed for a regular qjet as soon as any mods were done. A project like this can get as far out of hand as you want it to... But... Since you've already established timing control you're only a couple of wheel speed sensors away from implementing traction control too. It would also be really trick if the fueling side of the cheater was able to be implemented as cruise control since then you'd also have vehicle speed data (or a target to maintain, at least) to work from. That could be more tricky if the cheater is still "just" an air bleed on the fueling side, but you'd have all of the logic available implement other means if you wanted.

Luke, been following your channel for some years now. Love what you do and the Cheater is is an exciting concept. I have installed and Aussie single ohc I 6 4 liter from a 2001 AU Falcon in my 49 Shoebox Ford Ute. I ditched the factory efi and added a Holley 330 on a Aussie made 2bl manifold. Not on road yet but the Cheater interests me a great deal as a management system. Love to get more details on distribution, cost etc. Well done mate Tony 🦘🦘🦘 Brisbane Queensland Australia

This is brilliant. I love carburetors but they are such a pain in the ass to tune, and it just makes modern reliable fuel injection more and more attractive. this might be the answer for people like me.

You are a Genius. Way to go man. I hope you get paid everything you deserve from this. Don't let big oil shut you down. Help everyone get the most out of the carbureted cars.
