The point where it feels overwhelming is exactly what you mentioned about being able to share some of the time with someone that you respect. Love this. I've always struggled with organising my thoughts as I am Dyslexic. This tends to be even more difficult for Dyslexics as we are often very creative and have many ideas. The difficulty is time management. Having systems in place like this; helps dyslexics harness their ideas and plan. This, in turn, helps them become very successful; Thank you.

I have bought a whiteboard. Best buy ever. It's always on the wall so I can see what I want to do and change it every day. Long term projects that I have no time for at the moment do I write in airtable so when I have time for a new project I can take it out from there and put it on the board. I feel very productive with this method. Before I also wrote on paper but than I put it away or lose it. Also I had a lot of paper that got wasted that way.

Wow. I feel like I spoke to someone who knows me very well. I am sure, I am not alone in this: on some days, I get this clarity, this vivid perception of life and myself - everything is clear and in order. Other days, I wake up with a million of thoughts, ideas and to-do’s in my head. I either ponder too much on what I should do and get stuck, and overwhelm myself, or I rush to write it all down, yet. And, exactly like you said, I lack ability to distill/externalize my thoughts on paper. I feel like my brain is on steroids at that moment and I want to do it all (write a book, write an article, draw something, learn something etc). Fireworks, as you said. So, I am truly happy that your video came along. I am doing my best to organize and order all this information and make it happen💪

I have a dormouse that crawls through the roof space into the wall cavity behind my bed and scratches away at the insulation every night at around 4am, waking me up. I lightly tap on the wall to scare it away whilst trying not to wake anybody else up. I use that moment between dreamful slumber and wakefulness to run through my anxieties, lay them to rest and reassert my goals, before drifting back to sleep and waking up with a renewed sense of vigour.

I do like taking notes on paper, I love writing and usually I do so when I write down my poetry. Same thing goes for books, the smell of fresh printed pages (if you see me sniffing a book around, that’s me lol). But since I’m in a phase of my life where I’m not stay too long in a place, having too many notebooks or books it’s a problem and a cost when it’s time to bring them with me, so I’m trying to buy more ebooks and write digitally. With an iPad, a Pencil and a Paperlike matte for the screen gives me the feel of writing/drawing on paper. And it’s an ecological option. Anyway the video is inspiring, thanks mate to share your thoughts!!!

Lots of great advice there, excellent video for those who just don't know(?). In my experience there's plenty of people out there who run around all day....and may or may not achieve anything, but never ....ever write anything down. They think they are being clever, my guess is they are probably losing 100 ideas a day. There is no way you can keep all of your "stuff" in your head. Regarding notepads, one of the best "halfway points" that got to is using digital paper....it still allows me the freedom to draw and change ides as much as I like, but doesn't restrict me to a system.

Thank you for a fab blog. I am one of them people as well that works best with pen and paper, or journal note books. When you place 100% efforts on personal growth, and capacity building yourself by structuring you life for your future and positivity then it will scare you how much things will change. (This is not being mean or nasty) simply getting up early and going for a walk then getting a coffee and reading and journaling everyday. Planning reading a book in two months, writing two 4 friends (post card) taking the time to get out on week ends with friends nature walks is a big deal to increase your mental health and wellbeing makes you better person
