I am completely obsessed with the ‘I heard, but maybe it’s not true’ thing. It’s so cool to have an alternative to once upon a time that ties into the culture, what with things you say and believe literally becoming true

I love how you brought together the "Once upon a time" video concepts and purposefully avoided calling fire by its name, saying "wood-blackener" instead, as is the Sirksey practice. Beautifully done.

the art and the story in this is so beautiful, the fact that they never saw eachother again is sad but nice in some way. Also if your date doesnt give you a mouse on your first date are they even the one? /j

ah wow the art, the rhythm of the storyteller's stock phrases, the sense of sadness that they must stay apart to live... this is so lovely!

Great story with more than one layer :) altho I admit, the explanation of why the summer wind and winter wind are called that is like an m night shamalan twist ending!

God I love myths in worldbuilding. They always say so damn much about the culture they’re told in. The art is awesome too. Happy to be binging this channel! EDIT: That ending, I love it so much holy shit.

Given the power of lies and stories here, I wonder if there are any false folk tales, or if they all gain a nugget of truth after many tellings

I love the way you narrate the story with a voice withing the culture you've made, I wish I saw more of that with worldbuilding. One particular thing I'm always fascinated by is the various artifacts and stories such a culture might have made or left behind, telling a story from their eyes rather than one's own.
