You have a world of applications for your device ,. show them to the public, if you can create a system that is usable by everyone, even non-experts, you will make your way. keep it up!

it'd be great if you could screw in all the modules or some other sort of more "permanent" solid attachment (optional, still with magnets too for quick swapping) so when you put it in a pocket, or slide an input part a bit too hard, or type on the keyboard without being too careful, it won't just detach, and stuff like that (especially if you bump gps and need to wait another 5 minutes for a fix) I could well see myself and other people having semi-permanent setups, where you might want to always keep the audio jack, for example, and maybe keep the keyboard attached most of the time, but occasionally will instead "dock" it, with usb and external monitor instead

I think the magnet mount system should be done so that there is some sort of shaft of something that goes into the board.. because it looks like the locking system wont take any force, and if you have display cables, usb cables.. its going to be pain if they are constantly disconnecting if you move the unit etc. Magnetic system is cool, but it would need to be really well designed to work well... it should be able to take the force of cables pulling up, down and in sideways. Otherwise its a compromise of cool magnets vs something simple like a thumb screw. Or simply have additional thumbscrew on the cable pieces. As most of the pieces would not need to endure any extra. You could add extra screw mounts on the sides of the boards, so the pieces connected onto the sides could also be secured with a thumbscrew. Or some sort of extra interlocking system to tolerate cable pull forces.

This is sweet, my only worry would be the pricing of such a thing, $100 for a small kit with some basics (Pockit base, a mini lcd, some buttons or knobs, maybe a sensor or 2) seems doable? You need to hit a perfect price point for this to be viable. If I, an electronics enthusiast, want to buy hardware for my projects I wouldn't want to spend a small fortune on each device or module for that device. I prefer to find a cheap but powerful solution to a project in most cases, mass adoption for a device of this sort is gonna be tough and a largely tech enthusiast audience is going to be your start. Pockit seems like an amazing little device, but in the end if I find my $5 esp-8266 suitable for the same job (albeit with a little more work) I'm going to go with that.
