I am a descendant of Oduduwa, however, we have forgotten much of our culture during our enslavement in the Caribbean. Some have maintained it better than others.

It pains me how much of traditional Yoruba culture has been lost. I'm of Yoruba descent, and I know very little. If it weren't for my mother worshipping the Orishas, I'd know mothing.

I'm not a Yoruba girl but I love this only if it could be translated both in English and Yoruba languages. I would be delightful to see this in translation.😊😊😊😊

It's important to translate the Homage to the King so that other Towns and the wider world knows what is being sung.

How I love these chants! My body is getting goosebumps right now. I'm not Yoruba and don't understand the language but I came here for this beautiful rendition and have the feeling.
