U House is a project designed by Caio Persighini Arquitetura in Araraquara, Brazil, spanning 3391 square feet. Initially designed for a larger plot, the project had to adapt when the owners decided to move to a smaller site with different building regulations. The architects tackled this challenge by incorporating overlapping volumes, maintaining the essence of the original design while optimizing the space. The house features three levels: a full underground level for the garage, a void on the ground floor for social spaces, and a full upper floor for private areas. A standout feature is the swimming pool, placed within the main hall, integrating the interior and exterior spaces. The upper floor houses three suites, designed for privacy and offering dynamic views of the ground floor. Through thoughtful planning, the project balances interior functionality with exterior aesthetics, creating a harmonious and adaptive home.
