Great idea for a spread, couldn't have *chosen* better cards, puts all this into some perspective. It's funny you mentioned "soft" decks :) After a little thought and some hesitation, I'm using the Mary-El. It feels like a powerful deck that can stand up to a pandemic!

Same here- students won't be back until 4/15. Really, I could use the break! But after that, it's craptastic packets developed by the district until we know more. I was so ready to start my favorite Shakespeare unit and have the students begrudgingly admit they like Shakespeare!!! Tarot has been helpful to lean on. THank you for posting this!

SAME. Are you going to try to teach Shakespeare remotely? I'm torn - I have the resources to do it, but I think it could be so daunting for kids to try to plow through it on their own... I might just scrap it and have them focus on reading works of their own choice, maybe? Would love to hear your thoughts!

@@AllieSailorFathomFiveTarot I'm not even sure the district is going to let us create our own content. I teach it by discussing the scene which would be easy to do in a video and then we listen to the audio. After that I show them that scene in the movie version. So I go scene-by-scene. Of course I start with an intro to Shakespeare's language and the background of his theater etcetera. So I'm not sure it's even going to be an option.
