Professor David and Shihan Ken put forth some of the most realistic no bullshit videos on KZitem regarding self defense applications & techniques. Very no nonsense approach you can rely on. Much respect.

The Art of Not Fighting is self-defense. I had to learn that a long time ago, and it makes all the difference in an actual situation. I was raised in East NY, Brooklyn. I have defended successfully several times. I enjoy your videos to learn what I do not know and add to my arsenal.

I have thought about a senior where I have a similar situation. But my wife and kids are in the mix. That's probably the scariest situation I can think of. Can you do a video about that? I often tell my kids, that if anything like that should ever happen. To simply cooperate and don't hug Dad for safety. Even though you're going to want to.

He can still Move his wrist
@3YZ-TS191
3 ай бұрын
Movement of the wrist alone would not provide sufficient motion for successful discharge of the weapon. Successful discharge would have to include a retraction of the arm, which would not be possible when the arm has been trapped and the defender's motion is a continuous aggressive movement forward.

Assuming a two-handed grip on the gun, which way should you turn, inside or outside?
@3YZ-TS191
3 ай бұрын
It doesn't matter. The concept remains the same once motion is involved. In fact, two hands on the weapon could prove worse for the assailant since the two hands are then engaged on the weapon --- much like the "two dead hands" concept.
