Great video and I knew you out if all would appreciate these beauties. You can see the killi imprint with Kenjiro, he was an amazing killi breeder too. The colors and fin shape tell his story with the rubras.

If you want a strong stock of guppies, have a permanent breeding group and put all the offspring in a different tank. If you let the sexes grow up separately (separate by sex within 3 weeks after birth!) you will have virgin females. This is useful if you want more offspring from a particular male (new or from your breeding group). Because you put them with two or three virgins... And only when the females are pregnant do you put them in the breeding group with the male.

I love all GInga strains from Kenjiro Tanaka. But it's a pity that a lot of people think and call them endlers. For there's not a single drop of endler influence in all Ginga strains. But there's a wild guppy influence that Kenjiro Tanaka has used to create the Gingas. All Ginga strains are pure guppy. It's more that the commercial trade labeled them as being endler and endler hybrids. But again, all Ginga strains are pure guppies.
@Fishtory

I actually didn't know that about his strains! Thank you for the info. I think folks have tinkered with things here perhaps because very often we see "guppy x elder' ginga xyz

Beautiful fish. I enjoyed this video, because they sort of remind me of mine. About 2 years ago I acquired some guppy fry from my LFS. They ended up being a wild endler guppy mix (I think...). The male bodies tend to always have orange and blue and yellow and green, with black dots, even sometimes some white. When their mood changes so does their color. I sometimes see purple and their fins will darken. Their fins will vary in shape. Some shorter while others are feathery, with the same markings as their body. Such a beautiful fish and fun to see how each fry will turn out. So easy to care for, but man can the tank get overrun quickly!!! I keep them with mystery snails. I'm still trying to figure out a good system for "crowd control." Have a great week!
