2:00 "at least that's what the holy sister encourages" that plot twist has been done so many times. edit 4:40 a huge suspension of disbelieve? damn so what else in this vn? yeah I guess this is a hard drop.

I just got done reading this vn, and I seriously didn't expect for it to be as good as it was. It's a solid mystery that left me feeling 100% satisfied in the end. Definately in my top 10 personally ❤

It's remarkable how focused, rich in content, and well-rounded this game is. Solid chemistry and also pretty damn funny. Strong majority of the humor clicked for me. I also never felt time was just being padded since there was so much going on and being discussed. The buildup to and catharsis of the true route conclusions were fantastic. I think the only real issue I had besides nitpicks over the mystery was that the After Stories were quite underwhelming although you should still play Yune and Sakuya's After Stories to complete their romances.

You should've keep the fact about the apocalypse on the later part of the video to highlight the gap between the vanilla romcom and the dark side of the story, because that aspect is what fascinate me the most about the story :)

It says in the video title that the story involves time travel. An apocalypse or something of that nature being involved is so blatantly obvious that there's no point stalling talking about it. Because in case it isn't apparent, Time Travel only ever exists to fuck everything up, or fix how fucked up everything already is.

Time travel stories can either be great or horrible. It depends on what the writer does with the concept because it can make for a thrilling ride. Something like Steins Gate is amazing. But time travel as a plot device can also make for lazy writing.

Not gonna lie, I hate unexplained plotholes, but the rest of the game sounds interesting enough. Also, let me guess, is it the typical story of: x character (the arsonist) is also somehow the (real)victim in all of this?

This seems to be a VN for moege fans (like myself), with an interesting plot as a backdrop. Those who are more plotge fans will probably find the moege aspects to drag. As for myself, I might check it out. But I typically don't like Japanese media that touches upon Christianity because I have yet to see any Japanese work treat my religion properly. So it may be a pass for me, but it seems neat. Thanks for the review of it!

At least at the beginning they were straight up quoting Bible passages from Genesis And I would say there's a bigger focus on just the general art school thing instead of the Christianity thing

Surprisingly it's taking a serious look into its religious themes. Like detailed explanations of Renaissance Christian art and Bible verses in the New Testament. And then tying it to the world in the game. Very good imo.
