Hey kids,
My son, Rufus, needed a chair for his little desk/workbench. A triangular one seemed like the most fun challenge to make.
This video is my submission into the #Rubbishwood21 challenge. As such, everything used was recycled, leftover bits, or thing I just happened to have lying around. This stool has a triangular top, square legs, and round mortises. The top is made of Jarrah, Tasmanian Oak, and Red dyed MDF. And also, arguably epoxy and superglue really... The legs are solid Ironbark leftover from a snare build. The feet and maker’s mark are veg tanned leather from the bin at a friend’s factory. I took it home with me probably a year ago...
There are so many things in this video that I have never done before this so please excuse the mess.
