We have seen a few brides taking over the usual red and maroons for their big days. But such is not the case with the bride Athira who is wedded to Gokul. She is seen choosing all extraordinary and rare colours for all her occasions, engagement, Muhurtham and reception.
The manjal thanni ceremony for both the bride and groom is one of the most fun filled ceremonies in the Kongu culture and this wedding too doesn’t fall short in justifying that tradition. The bride and the groom are seen to have so much fun for the occasion along with their families.
If you watch closely, you could spot a female artist in the wedding procession, blowing a trumpet and we are glad that we captured that particular moment (2.48 and 2.53)
The little fights when the groom’s clan say, “Kuthira vandi irundha dhan varuvaaru maapla” and the way both the families playfully gather around in their beautiful kongu tamil are reasons why this wedding is easily one of Mystics’ favourites!
