As of 10:45 a.m. Friday, Tropical Storm Helene was moving northeast as a tropical storm with 45 mph winds. The storm's center of circulation was about 30 miles southwest of Bryson City, North Carolina. The storm was moving away but the massive size of Helene means we'll still see significant impacts in central North Carolina.
