India has lost its Iron Man...A car with a price of 1.5 lakhs for a middle class family...only Ratan Ji can do such innovative move in a cut throat market...Feeling so sad that couldn't meet such a legend person in my lifetime😔. The best remembrance to him would be getting inspired by Ratan Ji's life and helping the society..love u Ratan Uncle😘❤

there's this un-explainable pain about him being gone, I started my career at TCS and of course haven't met him... but feel like I owe him to hold atleast 1% of his values in my life..! clearly being a Parsi & fellow car lover, Mr Hormaz would've been close to him.. thanks for this tribute @autocarindia1.. maybe some day we get to see about his car collection!!! It's so strange to have feel this connection with someone you never met or known personally in this world!!

I was getting very emotional when seeing this video. It's so huge loss for India that we cannot believe how can it be. I remember when I was small kid, I saw the first Nano in silver color, and was so compact looking that I got attracted by the look of it. Just perfect car for small car buyer upgrading from two wheeler. I have also travelled so much in Indigo CS which happens to be our travel car and even travel agencies also love Indigo CS and was used for travel purpose, because it was efficient, practical and solidly build. I'm feeling bad that we never had a Tata Car, but we use the other edible products of Tata like tea, salt etc... Ratan Tata sir is a true legend, and will be in our hearts. And from now onwards, I will only go with Tata car when I will be looking for a car from my hard earned money, just because of the person behind this inherently successful brand image that he made. Will miss Ratan Tata sir very much, but will never forget the dedication he had for Indians.

Thank you Hormazd and Sergous for sharing this, a gem of an episode from autocar, I didn't realize it was 44 mins long (until i planned to write this comment after watching the whole episode). I own an Indigo GLS, which is still going strong and smooth. Gr8 to know that Hormazd owns an Indica. Also thanks for the clarification on the acquisition of JLR (and busting the myth). So nice of you to have celebrated the 25th anniversary of Indica with Ratan, the video was so special and the pics you have shared of Ratan and Indica. I didnt know about his love for car design and that Indica was designed abroad. I am clueless about why Tiago and Tigor are being neglected by the group on the design front, curv is just a nexon with a better back and a tall stance along with low head room (where as his philosophy of a roomy cabin is not implemented in curv). I didnt know about Ratan's contribution to Indian representation in F1! just amazing. A leader with empathy and vision - you are right that such versions are not manufactured any more.

02:23 this reminds of something that late Muhammad Ali said about having bodyguards: "No, I have One bodyguard. He has no eyes though He sees. He has no ears though He hears. He remembers everything with the aid of mind and memory.” Ratan Tata sir didn’t need any bodyguards cz God himself was his protector
