Thanks for uploading this to honor a great person. I've seem most of the Nemesis films and agree with you about the Matrix. Just rewatched Mean Guns to show my fiancee one of my favorite movies. Then, I noticed that Albert Pyun and Michael Halsey had both died. Remembering their films is a great way to honor them.

Thanks. I've had a strong affinity for Pyun for years, after watching some interviews with him, in which he comes across as so kind and earnest and passionate about filmmaking. I was so said to hear of his passing.

@@hkcinemasociety dont believe me if you want , I watched Cyborg 4 time in a 2 weeks , the 4th one with my wife. great great great ambiance/atmosphere. IMHO this is the ULTIMATE Post-Apocalypse movie WAY ahead of its time ! Mad Max II is so "gay" compared to this. (Many thanks for Van Damme & Sheldon Lettich for having saved the movie with their own edit)

sorry i know its been a year but this has only just popped up on my feed, a great tribute to a true b movie legend, i have been a fan for so long since the 80s, i just love all his post apocalyptic/cyborg movies, cyborg even had a rip off of its own american cyborg with joe lara, i have the directors cut on dvd its called slinger the added scenes are very harshly added and does need doing propley, like you love nemesis and have the boxset, i also love radioactive dreams, knights that is just bonkers brilliant and omega doom ( a great post apoc/robot version of yojimbo ) love that, there was always a rumour of a cyborg nemesis movie i think stuff was filmed but it never happened, cheers man i was also a massive hong kong cinema fan back in the 90s sorry obsessed will be taking a dive into your channel, sorry for being late to the party

@@johnwhite3195 yeah I have that release, I think I mentioned it in the video. I love the fourth one. The second one is interesting to me given what they did with the enormous number of constraints on the production. The third one I just didn't really get at all.

Such a loss as with anyone who passes away. It is sad to see what he went through recently health wise. Cyborg is his best film however there are great memories growing up with my brother watching Cyborg along with Ticker. He will definitely be missed. I pray his family is able to fulfill what they need with the funeral and they see how well loved he was and will continue to be within the community of fans he has! Rest Peacefully Albert Pyun 🙏🏼

I absolutely agree, watching his health deteriorate was really sad and rough. I just love his ingenuity and passion for and love of cinema and filmmaking. He really was one of a kind. To make a film like Nemesis or Cyborg or The Sword and the Sorcerer with such tiny budgets and limited resources, he was just such a fantastic talent in that world of low budget genre filmmaking.
