I was there in 2009 and loved it..we stayed in one of the 'posh hotels ' as he put it by the Trone church, which was still a church then and folks sat on the expansive steps to talk and taking ht sun. There were then ghost tours taken from there too. Anyway there is so much to see and enjoy along the Royal Mile! While there it was the Return to Scotland Highland Games and it was wonderful. My sister and I toured Scotland in search of our roots of the Keith Clan and had a most fine time! Dunnottar Castle is a must even if you're not a Keith! Everyone was so nice and getting around was easy by train...if you have Scottish roots do go--you will be glad you did!! A beautiful country with so much heritage and history!!

I've been researching what to do in Edinburgh for weeks now and this video is 10x better than any tourism video I've seen so far (and far less corny)! Such a help for me when planning my trip! Thanks for the info and hello from Newfoundland&Labrador !

We were just there and walked up and down the Royal Mile a number of times. I did see the golden bricks and wondered what they were about...now I know! My husband and youngest daughter did spit on the Heart of Midlothian. LOL!! My kids LOVED LOVED the Camera Obscura as well as the Castle (even though we were there on a rainy/windy day - still good). We had a fun time exploring the closes...seeing what's on the other side of 'em...especially Dunbar's close. OH!! We did take a pic of the bike racks at the parliament (?) that line up to look like a bike (as seen on a separate video that you made. Especially fun for my husband who is an avid cyclist. Great Vid as usual!! Thanks!
