Part two of the longest train will take us from Edinburgh Waverley down the ECML and through the Midlands to Birmingham New Street, calling at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Alnmouth, Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, York, Leeds, Wakefield Westgate, Sheffield, Derby, and Burton-on-Trent along the way.
While I find it relaxing to watch the countryside flying past the window, it doesn't usually make for an interesting video, so there won't be as many scenic shots in this episode. That being said, there are a couple of views of the coast while we were still quite far north, and you can also watch out for Central Rivers depot, where Cross Country and Avanti West Coast Voyagers are maintained, between Burton-on-Trent and Birmingham New Street.
