If you've been following me for a while, you'll know that I love FOOD STORIES! So when a group of women from Domkhar volunteered to teach me how a unique Bumtap dish is made, I was beyond ecstatic...& hungry.
This is the KHARI - a unique local dish from Bumthang that I had never heard of. It is a soft dough with an interesting design cooked the same as the Bumtap Jangbuli. But Khari feels different. I don't know whether it's the slightly more finer texture of the dough of just the way it's made that helps elevate its flavour. And I think I like it more than the more popular Jangbuli.
