If author Jules Verne (a native son of Nantes,) and Leonardo Da Vinci met, they'd certainly love comparing notes on some of the 30+ rides at this fantastic 3-level carrousel in Nantes.
The Carrousel is a 360° theatre. It's dedicated to "Sailors' Worlds." Visitors watch as strange (and disturbing) marine creatures evolve in their habitat, from the seabed and abyss to the surface.
Are you ready for an encounter with one of these incredible creatures?
This is all happening on the Ile de Nantes, on the Loire River, in Western France.
ERRATUM: The elephant is not steam-powered. It works with a hybrid engine as I found out later. :-)
