Pashmina is a fine quality goat fiber produced in the Highlands of Ladakh; has its historical Origin and more geographical presence in Changthang fields of Ladakh. The name 'Pashmina' also refers to the unique breed of Goat that produces the fiber. The 'Pashmina fiber' is also termed as 'Kashmiri Wool' which has Geographical Indication Tag.
