It's actually basically the easiest language to learn for an English speaker (along with Norwegian, Dutch, Frisian.) " Easy" or "hard" depends on your native language. Japanese isn't so hard for Chinese speakers.

@@mspococurante Hi! I’m argentine, so, as a native and Spanish student, I can totally assure that it is, in fact, difficult for foreigners to learn from scratch. Not so much for vocabulary since there are many words that have similar phonetics. We have more verb tenses and it makes it harder to associate which is the correct one to use. If it’s hard for us natives, i’m sure it is for foreigners. Cheers.

Hey Jade! I have been following you for a while now and really enjoy watching you videos. About a year ago, I started using lingoda for learning Spanish after watching one of your videos. It helped me a lot with my Spanisch. Recently, I saw the wage of a teacher display on their shared screen. It’s 9€ per hour (the teacher was from Spain). I was shocked by this. 9€ is below the minimum wage in Germany (where I am from) and really little. It’s hard to live of this wage. In addition, one lingoda lesson for a student costs more than 9€. And usually there are about 3-5 people attending a lesson. After finding this out, I looked at the glassdoor page of lingoda. The working conditions are really bad. Teachers report that it is really stressful working there and they are treated badly. Since then, I feel uncomfortable using lingoda. I also looked into alternatives and bubble try’s to establish something similar, but I don’t know if they treat their staff any better. How do you feel about this? Have you ever thought of it? I really understand why you love lingoda. I did the same and also recommended it to a lot of people. However, now I don’t know what to do about and wanted to tell you about it. Lots of love and a virtual hug ♥️ Elina

Hi there, I quite literally never comment, I'm a silent watcher and lover your channel and energy Jade! Upon moving to Berlin in December 2020 I attempted the online A1 course in German. As a dyslexic and someone who hasn't studied anything since 2013 I struggled A LOT in the online class space. Honestly I've lost faith in studying online. But I've heard you talk so highly of Lingoda. I also have mornings free before work which would be perfect for studying German online. Berlin is my permanent home so I feel the push everyday to study and learn German to integrate more into everyday life here. I'm worried and anxious about having a similar experience if I try Lingoda...

Nice. Something to help you with your Spanish. For example you wrote "el perro" (the dog) that is making that dog a special dog, because is yours or something else separates from the rest of the dogs. Showing a dog with no special remarks is "un perrro" (a dog). Better an example: "Hoy vi un perro cuando iba a la universidad" means "today I saw a dog when going to the university". Instead saying "Hoy vi el perro cuando iba a la universidad" means that in some way you and who is hearing you know which dog it is: is the dog of the neighbour, or is the dog you told yesterday. Although we use 24hours time with no AM or PM, speaking we use hour in that part of the day. So "tres de la tarde" is three in the afertoon, 3PM, or really 15:00. "Tres de la madrugada" instead is three in the early morning, or 3 AM, or 03:00. The same for "diez de la mañana", at ten in the morning or 10:00 or "diez de la noche", ten in the night or 22:00. Spanish is complicated because of the many conjugations and tenses of verbs, but its very simple to pronounce. If you know the rules of accentuation all words have only one pronunciation and you would know in which sillable you should put the stress. Example: "público", "publico" and "publicó" are three different words. The first one is and adjective that mean public, well known; the second is publish for the first person of the singular in the present; and the third is publish in the past for the third person of the singular. The different conjugations for the different persons allow to omit the subject in the phrase, while in English this is not possible. You have many museums that are free in Argentina or have very cheap tickets. Not far away of your home you have: -Museo Fernández Blanco, Suipacha half block from Libertador Avenue. Spanish silver and a collection of musical instruments of Fernandez Blanco that were found in the basement an resulted to be some Stradivarius violins. -Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, across Recoleta Cemetery towards de River Plate. Big and important collections of European and American Art -Museo de Arte Decorativo, near the Automovil Club Argentino central building. Art on objects (vases, tapestry, houseware). -Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA).

"no está del todo bien, pero está mejorando de a poquito" It isn't a 100% good (the economy) but it's improving/ getting better 'slowly' (de a poquito/ de a poco means little by little, step by step, baby steps? or simply slowly. For example; Estoy pintando un cuadro de a poquito= I'm painting a picture part by part, in little parts, little by little). Quizás mi traducción no sea la mejor, pero espero que se pueda entender! Como argentina, te puedo asegurar que la jerga acá es complicada hasta para los nativos, so good luck in here and i hope u have a great time:D
