Thank you for sharing your trip into the bush, Lisa. Lovely to see the koalas especially after the trials of forest fires in recent years? I never had a teddy bear, but a 1950s koala made from real fur, with black leather claws! He was a present from my dad's studio boss after a visit to relatives in Australia. Grandmother Koala looks very much the matron of your tiny expanding animal family? 😊 Your research into old childrens books reminds us of the rich history of storytelling and illustration. I particularly like mice and doll stories and have quite a collection of old books, which I love to share with young visitors. Your days will be getting brighter as ours mellow... every day the garden is strewn with leaves from our numerous trees, ready to be gathered into piles of rich leaf mould! ❤️💚

Do you give your characters a skeleton for support. I adore what you’ve done such a sweet little character. The hands nose and eyes did you make them from air dry clay. They are so well done.Bravo on everything she is so sweet the clothes just make it come to life. Thank you for sharing these authors I would have never known they existed. I love all this whimsy, yes I’m still a child at heart 💜I must take a break from my minis must work on Christmas. I love to make all my own decorations this year I’m making a ton of 3D gingerbread characters. Along with candies etc.. I love to make these items out of felt and I hand sew them with embroidery thread to give them that special look of icing. I am a Christmas enthusiast. I start decorating the day after Halloween to have enough time to finish my home. I tend to finish a week into December. This year I’m going to tone down a bit and only decorate two trees.😂😂 Well have a lovely week in your oasis of beauty thank you for sharing .💕💕💕💕
