Thank you Claudine for keeping us informed. And yes unfortunately pain killers make people like me very tired & sleepy…that’s what I don’t like about them! But I can’t function with all of my back & neck pain either! It’s one of those losing things to deal with! I wish they could make a pain killer that doesn’t make us feel tired & sleepy!

I love that your father is enjoying socializing. A couple of years ago my mother socializing shrank because of the virus. The YMCA nearest her closed their water aerobics permanently. She became deconditioned and would have random incredible pain that would drop her to her knees. Once I became aware of that, I left my home within 24 hours to assess the situation and possible need for a change in her ability to live independently. The doctor had sent her home with a diagnosis of sciatica. The loud pop indicated that was not the case. There's another community pool which she was unaware of so we signed her up for that and she now goes 3 days a week. She's 89 and she loves it.

They are telling her maybe fall or winter for her surgery. We have to wait and see and she's taking very good care of Bill and I
