My 2 year old grandson loves this ideo. Cows and Music - it doesn't get much better in his world. He watched it 6 times in a row without one word. Then started jabbering the next 10 times pointing out barns, trucks, etc.

When I was a kid growing up outside of Philly,my brother and I would spend a couple of weeks at my parents friends dairy farm in Lancaster each summer. Wonderful experience!! Trout Spring Farm was a magical place by far!!! We learned so very much and all those cows were loved and had the best!! I could never believe how they knew every single cows name and each cow knew her own stall in the milking parlor when they came in at 5am and 5pm!!! Lifetime memories for me (I'm 60) Old farming days I guess...

My aunt had a dairy farm. Their alfalfa bale room had enough Oder concentration in one area to alter space time. Dense burn your sinus type qualities. Recall the kids bottle feeding the calves. It’s a wholesome lifestyle for sure

They have a nice barn, good lighting and newer style milking machines. I was just in Quebec Canada and all I can say is NICE FARMS! Most are 60 to 150 milking. This was awesome to see these beautiful farms but, it comes at a price to the public. Milk is very expensive but the family farm is very much supported. Good/Bad to the farmer and public. Either way, all of these farm families and cows are very happy! I love my Dad's 50 cow farm and hate to see this go away. GO Family Farms!

I didn't grow up on a farm here in Iowa, but I spent plenty of time on farms . Both my grampas were dairy farmers up until the late 60's, and I had other family members who farmed. I think my favorite part of Dairy farming was the cows, my great uncle raised Guernseys. It's a lot of work, but as kids we had a lot of fun helping out:-)

I'm am from the Pacific NW and I've never seen a cow up close. This cow reality is like another world. I would try to make pets of all the cows and teach them proper breast feeding techniques rather than mine their milk for profit. Such spectacular animals! Are they like big dogs? Do they have a big, cool animal smell? Or is it mostly stinky? Do you sense their animal power? Or do you milk them with confidence they will not hurt you? Lucky people who grow up on farms. I am seriously jealous.

+ Edward Adams it's actually for protection from other cattle, cows bully eachother and if a whole herd had horns there would be alot of injuries over time, but if you have a herd without horns and then introduce one with horns the de horned cattle will sometimes turn on the one with horns and even kill it.

Jorge at one time there was a program underneath Farm Bureau that connected young Farm men and couples that want to start farming with older couples that wanted to retire they started as a mentoring ship learn how to farm with help of a senior couple usually the couple that wanted to retire does not have children or had children that was not interested in farming or milking cows in the older couple just wanted the farm to continue I don't know if it's still available now but please look into it a mentoring program is probably the best possible scenario good luck my friend good luck
