Thanks for the video. Wow, that coal seam should keep the smithy going for a while, it looks substantial. I like the look of the mine with packed dirt in the pillars. Almost makes it look like timber square sets. Looking forward to the next video. Take care.

Just throw a torch or two on the wall... it will help us see better when you're mining... your presentation is relaxed and "normal"... not overly excited about every little thing... Thank you... Sub'd

I always turn cave-ins. There is something missing when mining without it. One thing that always mildly disappointed me in the other block game was always the lack of fear that things would fall on my head. I find the "support beams" to be very ineffectual though. I like to stay way back and carve ahead of me. First I recommend mining a depression at least one block below where you are standing in front of you. That lets the rocks fall without hurting you.

Yeah no cave ins for me my anxiety dose not need any help. I was wondering as i have watched you if the cracked vs whole stone has different rules. or if the cracked stone with soil on top creates more instability. Just an observation because i have no idea. love every min you share thank you once again for the morning adventure.

Cracked stone seems to have lower stability but I often miss the fact that it's cracked. It adds to the excitement. :)
