A6 is quite an interesting looking jet. Obviously for Navy purposes, it reminds me of the Harrier.

Your telling me I could have just cut faces with a solid this entire time? Mind blown. I have always worked in solids till recently as I had no need for the other tools in my work. TBH I always thought they were just not accurate enough for the tight tolerances I worked with. Some times It had to be withing .0005" for some of the assembly fixtures.

Yeah I don't remember where I picked that up. Think I just accidentally discovered it.

Outstanding workflow! Love your approach. I'm sure you've already seen them but there's a whole subset of forms modelers that do cars. They each have a different styles and workflows and your workflow here shows the advantages of different elements from the various modelers. Great work!

Just ran into your channel. Instant Sub, i was wondering if you were going to make the f16 a printable model?

Short answer is yes, but initially experimenting with a large scale cnc cut foam model. I'll do both. Curious, from everyone what the most requested edf size of the printed version should be?

Hello Redbaron, I found this video quite by chance and thanks to you I discovered a lot of interesting functions and methods. Thank you for your sharing. I would like to learn and practice according to your example. Is it possible to know the origin of the 3D STL file of the A6?

Hey thanks for watching. The source file was purchased by one of my subscribers. It was actually an obj. File. I'm sorry but I don't know where he purchased it from.

Great video, thank you for sharing.. I'm curious about how to make the skin thicker. Thicken command would work well for that?
@redbaronrc

Yes you are converting a surface to a solid with that command.

@@redbaronrc When I am using thicken command for the complex shapes like this its giving error. Could you please show that in the upcoming videos?
@redbaronrc

@@RJMathiyazhagan this happens when the seams cannot maintain their geometric shape with the thickness attempted. Try splitting the object up to see where it's failing, or also try giving it a negative number just to test.
