It would be funnier if it wasn't so accurate and sad. Just think of how many generations of Brown People (we're ALL brown-skinned, including so-called "black" people), the ones who survived the slaughter, who were successfully brainwashed into believing they were somehow defective because their features didn't resemble that of their colonizers, and took that belief to their graves. Just think of how advanced some of the countries in Africa, Asia, and the Americas could've possibly been today, if Europeans hadn't colonized them and/or destroyed their cultures and ways of life -- especially when you recall that at least one of the countries on each of those continents were much more advanced than any European country at some point in their history. So they were clearly capable of advancing on their own, completely independent of European input. Also, it's no coincidence that all the non-European people who were colonized across the planet were Brown people -- Africans, Amerindians, Australian Aborigines, and the brown-skinned Asians. That was an undeclared race war, long before the phrase 'race war' existed.

A study was done recently where three-year-olds from all different races were asked which skin colour was best and worst. You can guess what they said. All gave the same answer. So by the age of three, kids can tell that society judges them on their colour. Anyone who thinks we're finished with the whole equal rights thing and that continuing efforts are just political correctness needs to appreciate that we have further to go. Not about guilt, just about helping future children see themselves as equal.

I don't think most people truly understand how entrenched white superiority is, in the minds of most people. Listen to the second half of the video several times. This is a major reason Asian women are flocking to White men for marriage. I don't mean the desperately poor Asians. I mean the ones who are educated and self sufficient. In the last 10 years in the US, roughly 30% of Asian women who get married each year marry White men (US Census data- varies between 28-33%).

rac·ism [rey-siz-uhm] noun 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. 2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination. 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races. you don't have to go back in time to be racist towards a white person, i've seen it happen to all races and no one race is excluded from racism.

Oh fellow white people, stop having a hissy about this. Its called comedy for a reason, because it's a joke intended to make people laugh, which it did. That's not to say that it isn't all valid, that's what makes a good joke, when it has truth to it. However the only part I don't like is the term "reverse racism" that people use (mostly white). It's silly, racism is racism, it makes it sound like white people are a whole different category than every other race.

if you can never worry about arbitrarily getting shot or harassed by the police at night in a nice, suburban neighborhood because of the color of your skin; if you can send out your resume with an equally qualified candidate with an ethnic or "black" sounding name and have a higher probability of getting a call back; if you are THE preferred dating preference of women across all "races" (particularly asian american women); if you can go to most countries of the world (again, especially asia) and get paid bank simply for speaking english (and get paid more than more qualified "non-white" counterparts, including other americans); if you can "celebrate" native americans by cheering for sports teams (e.g., redskins) who glorify a stereotypical image of native americans as their mascot without any serious consequence; if you can expect to see your likeness on the majority of actors in hollywood and benefit from this "positive" image (e.g., a diverse range of roles and characters, a template for what is considered "beautiful" or the gold standard for attractiveness: people's "most beautiful people" concept is a good example); if you can still be offended by this comedian's generally on-point observation even though if asked whether or not you would want to be a "black," "brown," yellow" or "red" man living in the u.s you'd arguably say no thanks.... then, ok, you might not be "accountable"--but you certainly benefit from what your ancestors did hundreds of years ago. :)

i'm hurt by this. i'm constantly being accused of things people who had my skin color did/are doing which is detrimental to people possessing other skin colors. the hate and resentment which is present in these words, and in several of the comments, is what perpetuates division between humanity. i'm white - obviously - and i don't think i deserve any special privileges for my genetics. i'm white, and i'm proud to be: it's who i am; but things like this make me sad. if you look at me and judge me to be something that i'm not that makes you prejudice - not me.

Maybe you should listen to some of the white murder victims of hate crimes to find out if racism against whites exists. Oh wait, you can't because they are dead, and you don't know of any of them because the media didn't think their lives meant enough to be nationally and internationally broadcast.
@Tehutihung
10 жыл бұрын
ptbwf In both cases whether black or white I think it is wrong to not broadcast and make society aware of the ills that go on within communities across the country and the globe for that matter. However, these systems are put in place and run by people that are white. The government system was founded by people that are white. We live in a culture of white supremacy and have been in this predicament for hundreds of years, where hundreds of MILLIONS of brown people AROUND THE WORLD met the same fate of being discriminated against, beaten, murdered, raped, enslaved as chattel because of the color of their skin, without the world ever knowing unless one took it upon himself to dig for this historic information. Whites that oppress the brown or indigenous peoples complain about the brown people lashing out? I don't think brown people are inherently racist as it was brown people who FIRST invited you into their homes and villages and considered you a brother or sister in the beginning despite your skin color, before your decided to trick them and take away their land and resources, as well as stripped them from their culture or way of life. You should perhaps re-examine your usage of the term "Reverse RAcism" and try injecting a little understanding into the source of this kind of behavior from brown people by adding historical context. Brown people did not create the concept of racism. And racism is not a trait of brown people as it is merely a conditioning impose on them by the influence of white supremacy. It is a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. It was a concept founded by white people in order to control the indigenous people and their resources as well as exterminate the indigenous population if need be. Even Albert Einstein Called Racism “A Disease of White People.” Your policy, system of government, etc., is based upon or fosters such a doctrine of discrimination. So when you say whites are being discriminated against by brown people, I say that it is wrong to discriminate against someone because of the color of their skin and I believe the comedian also believes it is wrong, but you obviously missed the point of his message.

I'd like to add; things need to change & they need to change fast. we cannot teach more generations to hate others. we cannot teach more generations to hate THEMSELVES because they don't look like the "perfect" white models seen everywhere. people seem to think that because slavery has been formally abolished, racism does not exist.

the fact that so many white people are actually upset about this just proves how little they are understanding. & no this doesn't apply to every white person, hell I'm white as you can get, but I still know that everything he said was true. I know that we have white privilege (if you are white & deny that, just stop). & there are a lot of other whites that understand that too so no it's not everyone. but the ignorance coming from hurt white people on this page is ridiculous! it is making you look worse. face it, everything this man said is true. us white people will never go through what POC do. it is fact. ps no I'm not saying I'm a special white person & by God if anyone calls me racist against my own race or a "black loving ass kisser" I will scream. that being said its 5 am & I most likely did not make sense or say this the way I intended. if I offended anyone I apologize & rest assured I mean no harm! as I said I don't know anything really & I'm not trying to pretend to these are just my opinions :) good day!
