A special woman, mom of 2 beautiful daughters, a friend just passed away tonight.. She was only 42. A special light. This song is helping. I know even in this insane upside down world I have faith we will meet again. God above this helps listening to this song etc.

I sit tonight listening to this, as I fight emotions from everything....from feeling not good enough for anybody to wishing this cancer I am fighting would just end all my pain, that I have felt since my childhood from all the neglect and abuse from my Mother. My Father was killed 23 yrs ago, this year, and one of the only positive influences in my life. I wish he was still here to talk to......

I lost my beloved cousin a year ago. He was killed horribly by a car while working directing traffic doing his friend a favor...........had a terrible life, but was finally happy, and told all of us that on the phone before the accident. the five of us kids were thick as thieves all a year apart. we stayed close, in all my 54 years my cousins and brother were the constants in my life. this song means so very much especially now, it is full of truth, and heartfelt thoughts of what our life on earth is and means. Thank You Aaron, your music is deeply felt by us all.

Wow im sorry to hear about your husband, this song reminds me of my brother Bryan who passed away in 2011 forever in my mind, the memory never fades, and every time I hear this song it makes me want to break down, and disappear, yet I cant help but listen to it over and over and over. There is a multitude of songs by aaron lewis that bring back the memories of my brother, we used to play guitar and sing quite a few of his songs, I rarely play anymore. Truth is when he passed for awhile I was completely lost, and because it was a suicide I hated myself for not reaching out more. All I can think is the countless things I never told him, all the things I can never tell him. I remember leaning over his casket and dying inside, it changes your entire perspective, everything in the world takes on either a new light or is forever concealed by shadow, unfortunately I chose to dwell on the negative and have forever shamed the memory of the most amazing brother anyone could ever ask for. Bryan if you are in heaven and can see me now, I hope i make you proud. I hope you soar with the angels, I hope you finally found the peace that forever eluded you and im sorry, so sorry that felt it had to be this way, but we will always love you and you will always be with us.
