what blows me away was how he flawlessly worked in a metal blast beat amongst it all!

One of the many things I admire about Aaron's drumming is how he sets up his fills then fits back in with the groove like it's nobody business. Secondly, it doesn't matter what he is playing, he plays with assurance and confidence, always with the music. Finally I think when it's all said and done for him, drumming history will say he showed this generation of up and coming musicians how to show love and keep God first. I have studied him for years since '08, staying dialed with old Zildigian magazines and watching all his interviews and listening to his podcast interviews, soaking up all I can of what it really taking to be a musician and great human-being as Aaron. SAS !!! 😊

Man Aaron locks in to that metronome like none other. Watching him live with Usher back in the day I couldn’t tell the difference when he was playing with the track and when he wasn’t.

Why do some people think that they can get for free what others paid for?
You can't listen to this incessant thud. It's a thud, not a game. this guy doesn't understand what drums are. percussion is not an anvil in the forge and sticks are not hammers, which collapses without restraint. He's not a musician, he's a blacksmith. And such a blacksmith is supposed to be a teacher of future musicians ??? Unless the percussion has become meaningless as an instrument and has become some kind of pounding machine. Perhaps Aaron would get a job in a forge - he would be of more use as a blacksmith.

Considering his rather long résumé and years in the music business, your opinion has no weight, no Merritt and really doesn’t deserve my response or any at all. But I’m gonna leave your comment up so people can laugh at it and be amused at the ignorance. Have a wonderful day and be blessed.

By the way, I liked the sticks signed by Aaron and bought a few sets of them. To my surprise, they can be played subtly and not just hit like a blacksmith ;)
