When I was watching this, my instinct was telling me that this was probably the house of a very elderly person/couple, and it was probably abandoned 20 years ago or so... But the mixture of 1800's items, 1940's-1960's-ish items is rather odd.... Makes me think perhaps this house was passed down to the elderly person from their _parents_ or someone, who lived in probably the late 1800's/early 1900's. That would kind of add up. As people get older I think they begin to care less about modernizing their houses, and focus more on just keeping it clean and living in it in general. When my grandmother left her house in 2010 or so (she was born in 1917), she had an old 1960's radio in her living room that was still plugged in and still worked, but she hadn't used it in years... She also had a 90's Sony TV, and her bathrooms and kitchen had 1970's interior styling. I also went to my mom's uncle's house a couple years ago (probably 2015/2016), who was also in his late 90's. And he took us down into his finished basement, which literally felt like it was literally frozen in the 1970's-- wood panelling everywhere, a wooden console-TV, a couch with flannel patterns on it, and even one of those 1970's 8-track/stereo receiver/BSR record player units. The 8-track player actually STILL WORKED and he let me try it out, because I'm always fascinated with that kind of stuff.

I get the feeling that this stuff is not original to the house but collected at a later date, pehaps even displayed there. Items are upstairs in newer boxes. The way items in the house are placed makes it seem staged as if they were at one time on display. Was it used as an antiques shop and abandoned? Was someone collecting to have a shop. I'm sorry but I don't feel as if this was a home full of these items. I think they were gathered or collected and placed there.

This home has gotten significantly worse over the years. I live right by it. Original owner was a teacher, she passed and left the house to the local school district for educational purposes. The district never used it as was intended and left it to Rot. The family of the original owner recently sued the town to gain access back to the family but ultimately lost, and now she sits and decays. Home has power and functioning alarm system. So sad to see it in this shape as it's not abandoned, the town really screwed up. Great video guys!!!

This is amazing to me. It literally looks like whoever last lived here long ago simply walked out of the house and decided never to return - just abandoned everything. I really like those very old roller skates but my favorite was the sewing machine, which I'm guessing is about 130-150 years old. It's all fascinating yet eerily surreal at the same time. I'd love to see some professional investigation into the history of the house, the land, and most of all the families who lived here. Let us know if anything was researched about the house. This is all just stunning to me. I bet that 1880 era baby stroller would fetch a pretty penny. And it's obvious to me there was a seamstress in the house too.

That red and black dress looked extremely out of place to me. That looked like something someone would wear at an old western saloon, not in a modest country doctor's house. I really love how many places like this are frozen in time. It gives me comfort that all we build deteriorates so relatively quickly. In only a couple hundred years, its all been dissolved to nothing through the ravages of time.. Maybe some shards of glass and broken ceramics. But the walls, foundations, papers, eventually all become nothing. It's comforting. We're all here for such a short time, and every trace of our existence will one day be completely gone. Earth makes room for whatever and whoever comes next, even if that's thousands of years from now.

What an incredible video!! So glad Urbex & Chill found it before idiots get in there! Even hydro still on? Amazing job guys! You walked from the driveway back to the 30's!

Probably some old hermit living there, purchasing newer items up until they died.
Usually when you see a video like this it's done and old style but then there's a calendar found in the home that says 2003 the calendar you found is from the forties what a wonderful wonderful find!

A person could practically do tours if it as it is. Hard to believe its not in worse shape. Be careful out there exploring these properties, you are still trespassing to someone.

Noticed some of the furniture and stuff had tags on strings...like price tags. Very cool house with a lot of sweet antiques. With the way the bricks are falling in in that one bedroom, this house doesn't have too many years left before it comes down on it's own.

Everything you see in that house is all under the 1940's. That metalic baby carage from the attic upstairs seemed so spooky, somewhat haunted and all of the antique furnitures were dated at least from the early 1900's. I notice that by 1920, most women stopped wearing corsets and switched to modern undergarmets and bra's. I'm pretty sure that those people were very rich at the time and the husband was most very likely a doctor. I still can't figure out why this house seems like it's been abandonned around since the 80's and yet that washroom with the shower bathtub seemed so modern, especially with that new green and white shower curtain design. The bathtub and the ceramic tiles on the wall all seemed brand new to me. What a mystery. THX! Johnny from Montreal.

Kristine Guetschow...Please do some research...Stink-in-Lincoln was maybe the WORST EVER PRESIDENT...never mind they are ALL SHIT...He only wanted to keep the big (JEWISH) BANKS in power...aka THE UNION...WAKE UP PLEASE

@@chipsramek3868 We are talking about pictures. not judging who is in them. I doubt one family has so many of those pictures,I think someone is a dealer and storing their junk in the house.

KatKrazy The Mrs. Butterworth’s is circa the 1970s specifically late 1970s. I remember it very well, it was made of heavy glass, I also remember when it was changed to plastic which I thought cheapened the product.

The little calendar said 1941. The men probably went off to war and the rest waited and waited but nobody came back. The woman went back to mother or to a new lover. so sad.
