Looks like the upstairs was not original bedrooms, just attic space where the master is located. Probably renovated/added on at a later date. Looks like it was originally a one story, two bedroom home, then they bumped out the back upstairs to add on those 3 bedrooms. Those stairs were retrofitted to get up to the second story. That's likely why the master bedroom is so huge, because it was probably the original entire attic space of the home. It would also explain that wonky upstairs hallway. The original two bedrooms on the main floor were probably located in the space where the parquet floor is now on the main floor. Thanks for the tour.

basement - the ceiling most likely collapsed under the weight of frozen water when the first severe cold came after the water in the plumbing froze and broke everything, and in the spring all the water flowed into the basement as a result... the last major renovation was more than forty years ago, most likely in connection with the birth of a child, the child grew up and left, much later taking his parents closer to him... The house was rented out for several years, slowly putting it up for sale along with the land... judging by some indirect signs, the house is much older than 1970, but renovation with a brick fireplace and staircase in 1970 is possible, although I would still attribute “brick baroque” to the end of the seventies...

It's sad that they left that antique record player cabinet behind in the moldy basement. It would be worth a lot in the US. I wonder if the developer will rescue it or demolish it with the house. Those chandeliers in the garage looked like they were made from the bases of rolling chairs! Interesting that the owners left only a year ago, but they never updated the 1970's decor. Either they loved it that much, or they ran out of money. From the state of the pool, it looks like they ran out of money a long time ago.
