All of our excellent industry gone, and this is echoed just about everywhere, to be replaced with millions of workers on universal credit, living in a country where a simple call to a large company is a major mission due to unusually high call volumes. The Viscount was built here, so sad to see.

that canteen complex brock down in to three areas main canteen, managers canteen and someting more like a club if you fancied a pint , then lunch was split for the work force over two hours . the main canteen had multiple serving stations with different meal choices along with the choice of the preveious station to its left , happy days

Glad you liked it. By the time I was there (our office was in the Flying Club / Control Tower), it was already in this state. Still at least I got a chance to record it before it was pulled down. Regards Andy

Hi Andy, So nostalgic to see these videos, great work. Do you have any of the Millwrights/Electricians shops that were close to the river at the Byfleet or 6 gate end of the erecting shop? Even a video of that building before it was demolished? Tks for sharing
