You were talking about the Sears that closed 3 years ago I saw an article recently the man the investor who purchased what was left of Sears brought it out of bankruptcy paid off all of its debt and now has reopened the Sears in Burbank California and he talks about he's just going to keep building larger and larger, currently has 12 stores on the US mainland from California to Florida to Massachusetts and one in Puerto Rico it says a lot for somebody to be able to take care of the debt I'm extremely impressed with the store they reopen in Burbank it reminds you of the old days

It was still interesting Wallie. I think you seem like a good mechanic that wouldn't rip off people that is so refreshing in this world of ours now! Thank you to the gentleman who gave an update on Sears I thought they just sank like the Titanic never to be seen again. Last time I was in a Sears was when the one at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman Ohio closed.... I would still shop at Sears if they reopened some stores in N.E. Ohio.

that would make a good shop for someone looking to open up a shop. it got the lifts, & everything else they might need. if they get to keep it all in the sell.

you don't see many in ground post lifts anymore. Almost all above ground. I heard the in-ground ones were somewhat dangerous being he plumbing would tend to rust out under the floor and of course you know what can happen then ...thanks Wally for the video.

I have lived in the Harrisburg area all of my life and always enjoyed going to the Colonial Park Mall, it's so sad to see all of these malls close up and now the Harrisburg East Mall has closed also, nothing much left around here anymore in the way of the Malls.....

An awesome video, Wallie! I was in that area back in the very early 90s. The Colonial Park Mall was a thriving mall. Sadly, the Colonial Park Mall is dying to dead. I'm not sure if there's any stores still open. I once had sister who lived in Harrisburg. She lived in Dauphin County, in lower east Paxtang Borough. The Harrisburg Mall, was located in the same area where my sister lived and the mall was within walking distance from my sister's house. The Harrisburg Mall was a thriving mall back in the 90s. It was a nice mall, but I liked the Colonial Park Mall much more. 👍👍 Take care, Alan.

For those that watch NASCAR, this is the company that supplies their stock cars but, before that there was a tire war in NASCAR. Goodyear vs. Hoosier.

in-floor lifts--nobody wants the liability of having a hydraulic cylinder leaking into the ground, so they are pretty much obsolete and you won't generally find them in newer (within the last, say, 30 years) shops.

Hey Guy, I have an idea... Why not do a series of update videos of places you've previously been to? I'd really like to know what's become of them. Oh well, just a thought on my part... Nothing more.

I worked in a garage back in the 1980's that had the hoists in the ground and one day I had a big 75 Cadillac on the lift and I went to lunch and when I came back I noticed the Caddy was down a foot from where it was so I flipped the lever for more air and I pulled the other lever and put the car back up in the air for another half hour and when I was done with the car I left the air out and pulled the lever and the Caddy dropped 2 foot quickly and stopped and I let go of the lever and all this hydraulic oil came up to the top of the floor and the caddy was rocking on the lift so I grabbed the front bumper and steadied it and went and told my Boss and he came and asked what was I going to do next and I said everyone out of the way and I pulled the lever and the car came down hard but didn't hurt anybody or the car and I backed the car out and started digging up the concrete so we could see which pipe underground had failed and we fixed it and was good to go!!! I thought I was going to die that day by a Caddy crushing me but i am lucky !!!!
