I loved the Orthodox paintings on the pillars, some of them still retain color. Awesome vlog as usual!

Unbelievable! Greece has so many interesting places with historical and cultural background that goes back several millennia. This place seems to be a mix of palace and orthodox monastery. A real hotspot! It was nice to accompany you virtually.

This is my favorite abandoned video with Cody, too! Also, I like your new co-worker and I hope this new team makes a lot of video together. I like the stone buildings and I think I saw a fresco of one of the saints on the wall...

WOW. That was so filled with amazing historical abandoned places. Those churches with the paintings on the walls and ceilings. The ancientness of the stones and the architecture. Awesome to see. Thanks for sharing your journey up to the top and the amazing buildings you saw on the way up.

I love that architecture it is so beautiful and it always amazes me how long it has lasted. Literally CENTURIES of nature's elements, humans and then abandonment and still they stand and some of the artwork can be seen...amazing.

Churches are always my favorite. So beautiful even as they deteriorate and crumble to the ground. I'm surprised those with murals crumbling have not had the murals removed and taken to a museum to be preserved.

This is the city called Mistras, located in the law of Laconia, administrative and financial seat of Peloponnese during the last centuries of the Byzantine Empire. It was also the city of the last Byzantine Emperor Konstantinos IA΄ Palaiologos before he ruled in Constantinopole and befoer it was conquered by the Ottoman Turks. Ancient Sparta is located 12 Km away of course has nothing to do with Mistra that you started building in the middle of the 13th century AD in the beginning from the Franks and William II Villardwin.
