It is a shame that cute little old places like this can't send out a notification, like: "Roof collapsing next week, floor coming soon." So items that could be salvaged, like that darling old kitchen sink, or that beautiful wood paneling, could be removed and reused in a cute place! Wouldn't that be dandy? Maybe one day!

It looks like someone owned it and passed away there, then the house went into estate. The house is a knock down, but the location is fabulous. Every property has a history, from the time it was built, to who had owned it and lived there, any additional construction that took place, and any known activities whether good or bad that the house was known for.

Have a nice time. It doesn’t look like the little blue house on the shore only played the role of a “beach hut”; electricity was once installed in it, and there are a lot of fuses on the electrical panel inside, which is clearly unnecessary for a “beach hut”... As far as I can see, the house is no earlier than the mid-forties, and abandoned in the area of the 2000s, a newspaper from 2009 was brought by some homeless outcast... but in general it’s interesting, relatively well preserved, and a well-trodden path...

Btw, ive never seen a cottage before with a basement , only ones i've seen or been in had one level, and i havnt even seen one ever with any proper bathroom in it , well unless you count a chamber pot in an empty room as one lol. To me, a cottage is modern when it actually has a real full bathroom in it, i mean as in a toilet, one you dont have to scoop sh*t out of at the end of the day lol, and a proper tub...and that cottage you showed off looked pretty 'modern' to me🤔 lol. It alao looked like it had nice full rooms. It looked more like just a normal home to me lol..

My dads old friend used to have a cottage that was secluded on the beachfront that was identical to the first one! lol i really thought that was his! it was right on the beach like that!, and i think his friend had a lot of money, he owned a big house and had a few properties he wanted to renovate, one was a very old tiny house right close to his own property, which was a lot of land. He also worked on classic cars. Anyways, the cottage was a tiny looking thing somewhere here in Canada ontario🤔. I remember going there in the early 90's lol. His friend ended up in a wheelchair , i dont know if he's even around anymore. It is definitely not the guy's cottage tho., it didnt have any basement or even a bathroom, it had a sort of 'outhouse' lol, wouodnt even call it that, it was too fancy to be one, it had a shower and everything in it but for some reason it just wasnt attached to the cottage lol

In Canada when you find abandoned buildings on recreational property it may be a case of a lease expiring. Provincial governments and many native bands have land available for lease. Usually it is for commercial reasons such as ranching or logging but sometimes, especially in the past, it is for recreational use. When the lease expires and it isn't renewed by the lessor the leasee usually finds it too expensive to move the building and just walks away. I think you visited a site in B.C. that had half a dozen abandoned cottages that was from a lease expiration. It looks like this property is in the 705, Sudbury, area code that goes from the south eastern corner of Lake Superior all the way up to James Bay. That is somewhat remote so it also could be a case of siezure from unpaid property taxes.
