Bro, the cinematography that you produce weekly is beyond words. It's like the quality of Over Canada, but at not the most obvious Canadian icon locations, but equally stunning. Incredible how a drone, a great story teller and youtube has changed our entertainment. I absolutely love the content you produce. Thank you!

Really makes you wonder what else is just sitting out there, waiting to be discovered and explored. Places abandoned and forgotten by people for decades or even centuries, never recorded down and lost to time. Thanks for chronicling all these places, whether it’s sunken barges or trash heap mining towns, it’s valuable to see and remember these places and try to think about the people and memories that used to inhabit them.

The town that brought the railroad to my area, has been flattened and back filled... only thing left is a shop building from the 70s not part of the original town... it's very sad. Old mining towns should be maintained like museums... It's about 40 mins into the bush and I drive out there just to explore. I wish there were still houses and things to explore... it's what put our area on the map, it deserved more respect.

Just an FYI Dustin, strip at Puntzi was not built for WW2, it was build to support the Pine Tree Line radar system. The one at Dog Creek was the one built for WW2. I've been in and out of both many times back in the day when I flew commercially in BC (late 70's, early 80's). Puntzi is still on the list today for temporary tanker base setups during forest fire season. We were in that area last week ourselves, but stuck to paved roads with the motorhome. The smoke was brutal until the Sunday thunderstorms came thru where we were staying and the rain knocked it down. After the smoke cleared we had a few beautiful clear days.

The chemical in that building - also called SHMP - is a common food additive and used for various other consumption safe uses (toothpaste, etc)- the use there was likely as water softener additive. Loved the cinematography on the way up the mountain - stunning - loved watching it on the big screen in HD!

Great adventure, love it! About the rocks, it's a natural outcome of water/river flow with that type of soil composition. In the past the river was much stronger where you were standing; you can see it happening currently when you go downstream (26 minutes in). The water carries away the soft soil and nutrients to feed lower valleys and leaves behind the jagged rocks that don't dissolve.
