Nothing in this world is permanent. Especially not us as humans. But to constantly see the lose of others takes it toll on us whether we realize it or not. Life changes often and quickly. This video captures that emotion with dignity and truth through the lens of thr camera. Good job amigo. Even if it pulls at the heart strings. Still amazing

We got hit really hard here in the keys with Irma. I never want to go through that again. Thank you and prayers to St.Maartin and her people. One Human Family 🙏❤️

Amazing how powerful mother nature is, we must remember how small and insignificant we are being on the planet earth.

Paradise has it's cost, doesn't it? BC is thought of as a paradise for world travellers and tops their bucket-lists of places to visit, but mother nature (exacerbated by us, of course) has a way of making us appreciate our homeland through fires, floods, and melting glaciers. At least for us in BC, we have the "first world" classification to help us out unlike those who live in places like St. Martin (St. Maarten?) where it's more of a "toss up your hands and call it a loss" situation.

Sad to see the damage there. My mother was down in Panama City Beach visiting my sister when hurricane Michael hit, glad they took it seriously and evacuated but came back to alot of devistation.

San Martin! Wow looks a little like my Puerto Rico and US virgin islands! The big mistake, that ONE man you focused on, learned from and rectified with CONCRETE ROOF, is most of San Martin has WOOD roofs on concrete houses and commercial buildings! From what I see here the damage is mostly due to the wood roofs being ripped off by the hurricane. That yacht in the picture looked like a super villin's yacht! Sad to see this like this but in PR we too have it like this, though not as bad as most of our homes are solid concrete top to bottom.

Irma really did do a number on the Caribbean islands. Different countries represented by the Islands had different levels of help on recovery. Have you kept up with how poorly my counrty has done for the US citizens of Puerto Rico? I appreciated your views of St. Marten/Sint Maarten.

Interesting. A lot of those buildings do not appear to be total losses. It looks like they could just put new roofs on them, clean them up and they could be reoccupied. Even mold can be cleaned up.
