Woody’sThoughts SOS is my favorite song by them too, Think it was a precursor to “the winner takes it all” They knew they were in trouble, and the “writing was on the wall” then they wrote and performed “The winner takes it all” as they were going through divorce

Thanks for the ABBA. Those Kat dresses had Velcro at the waist. Depending on their mood they could turn them into micro mini's. They didn't miss many bases, they had them all covered. But it was always in good taste and with a wink. Love when Agnetha does the sad/hurt voice. You should react to her 2004 "Past, Present and Future". I'm sure ABBA fan's would enjoy it. Again thanks and stay safe.

Abba had an incredible run 1975-1976. I do x5. Nr 1 in Australia and started "Abbamania" there. SOS Mamma mia Fernando, non album single selling 10 million. Dancing Queen also around 10 million. Knowing me knowing you. UK nr 1 Money money money. UK nr 3 and nr 1 in a lot of countries. Great songs like That's me, When I kissed the teacher and My love my life were reduced to b-sides/album tracks. But Abbas four best albums came later The album, Volez vous, Super trouper and The visitors. + singles like Gimme gimme gimme and Summer night city. The Album their most diverse with lots of different styles with classics like The name of the game and Thank you for the music. Voulez vous. Their most disco-y album As good as new, Kisses of fire, Angeleyes did not even become the hits from this album. Super trouper. Their best in my opinion. The winner takes it all, Lay all your love on me, Happy new year, Our last summer, Andante andante. The visitors. Their darkest and most experimental after The album. One of us, The visitors, Slippin through my fingers and When all is said and done. The album that never came. 7-8 songs were recorded for a ninth album but they were losing the inspiration for Abba and never completed it. The day before you came is by many considered as one of their best.

So Glad to see you again, this time with my favorite ABBA song maybe don't remember that You do before reactions to "Mamma Mía" and "Knowing me knowing you", two of the nine #1 of ABBA in UK remember that ABBA was two couples: Agnetha Fältskog (blonde singer) & (Björn Ulveaus guitarist songwriter) Benny Andersson (pianist songwriter) & Anni Frid Lyngstad (brunette singer) "S.O.S." (1975) has a story It was one of his first recordings after the success of Your victory in the famous Eurovision Song Contest 1974 with the iconic "Waterloo", just four months later But it waited a year for its release "Waterloo" needed another theme to confirm the trend and it was not an isolated success or a stroke of luck ABBA's next three elections failed to stand out Until finally "S.O.S." have your chance to be a single, and broke the drought, reaching #6 in the U.K. and #15 in the U.S. being their second hit in both countries at the same time and six #1 and more Top 10 in several countries of all continents, It's made "S.O.S." the second worldwide hit to ABBA after "Waterloo" and then, hit after hit, "S.O.S." is the first of 18 Top 10 consecutives in UK between 1975/1981 "S.O.S." in less than 200 seconds is a gem, a masterpiece! The transitions from the dramatic opening (a dingy piano and a cracking Agnetha voice) to a powerful rock beat and catchy chorus are brilliant. ABBA marked an era in many ways One was the musical leadership of its beautiful and lofty female vocalists as the center of attention Another was the use of contrasts, such as sad lyrics with catchy melodies and harmonies And their recording tecnique "wall of sound" gives ABBA more powerfull For a next reaction I suggest: "Waterloo" your first worldwide hit at Eurovision Song Contest 1974 when ABBA begin to be famous to win the competition between 17 songs of all Europe ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, left an unforgettable mark on several generations It is good music that lasts and stays alive and well. Thank you very much for your videos, your sympathy and your love for good music See you in another video Best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina

I bought this 45 RPM single record in grade school at a yard sale across the street for a penny. I bought this and Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles which also had yellow submarine. They were already well played and kind of scratched up but I played them constantly. Actually love that combination with the slit and the high boots. They were Swedish and in fact in the early days that couldn't speak English very well so they had to learn a lot of their own lyrics by speaking them phonetically.

Abba had many hits and many fans in their official time of 1973- 1983, you probably only know Dancing Queen because in America it was their only number one hit, even though they had many other songs the were high on the charts(just look at the tracks on their ABBA Gold greatest hits album. And like me, most or all of their biggest fans love not just the hits but all of their album tracks also. Plus each of the ladies (Agnatha and Annifrid, better known as “ Frida” ) had some successful solo albums and singles. Although they were very popular in the USA they were absolutely huge in many other countries, having many more #1 hits in several countries, especially Australia and the UK.

Did you know those long skirts were fastened by velcro and could be removed to reveal a very mini mini skirt? Frida absolutely loves clothes and studied clothes design in Stockholm in case singing didn't work out. She helped design those dresses. She's a very accomplished seamstress and often woul make her own clothes. She also helped with many of ABBAS costumes including the Waterloo ones.

Unfortunately the video is not showing the band in action, it’s grafics. But it’s worth one of your mellow an uplifting reactions. The song was recorded 1978 but not released until the 90ies, I think?

Tysheen, another great music video you should react to is titled - "NEW ° Mary Hopkin - Those Were The Days (Stereo)" It's a newly uploaded high quality version of a music video she did in 1968. Paul McCartney of the Beatles wrote the song from an old Russian folk song for Mary to record, It was a big hit for her! Mary is from Wales. The Welsh are well known for their singing talents and she definitely lives up to it. link - kzitem.info/news/bejne/mqOXyWGKhaeUl6Q
