HI SHARON! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARDWORK AND MARK KLIMEK’S REVIEW FOR PUTTING UP THESE AMAZING VIDEOS. ITS VERY HELPFUL! I TOOK MY NCLEX EXAM ON APRIL 16 AND STOPPED AT 85 QUESTIONS ❤ I PASSED THE EXAM ON MY FIRST TRY. I WAS ABLE TO DEDUCE THE ANSWERS BY APPLYING ALL YOUR TECHNIQUES ESPECIALLY TO THOSE QUESTIONS THAT I AM NOT 100% SURE. THANKS AGAIN! USRN FROM THE PHILIPPINES ❤

I really love the way you think through the answers. It truly is how I was taught in nursing school and now that I am planning on FINALLY taking my exam I am so glad to finally run into someone who uses critical thinking when answering these questions. I am now starting to use this method again. Makes sense to me. Wow.

In question 7 you would give the floating nurse the most stable patient. Patient C has "acute left ventricular failure" not chonic heart failure like you mention. Wouldn't this patient be more unstable then the patient being discharged?

are you sure the first action on an NCLEX question about CPR would not be placing a backboard THEN begin CPR (if no code blue option)? I recall Mark Klimek specifically giving this example for first action questions, and he said backboard is first because it’s right on hand in the perfect NCLEX hospital

Depends if they say you are along or with a group. The backboard he placed as soon as the code team gets there

Every single other resource is in agreement that CPR is the priority action over activating the emergency response system (eg calling code blue) for a patient in cardiac arrest. Even for bystander CPR guidelines say to begin CPR first. Why do you believe that the NCLEX will say to call the code first? Do you have any resources available that confirm that all of the other ones are incorrect?

What do they teach you in CPR class, assess patient LOC, assess breathing and pulse, “point to someone and tell them to call 911” then start CPR. This is the same concept. Calling 911 in that situation is calling a code in a hospital.
