Abhilash Fraizer is a poet, fiction writer and essayist from and in India.
A multi-award-winning, bilingual Indian author hailing from Kerala.
A Master's degree holder in English Literature, Abhilash has authored 14 books and numerous poems, stories, and articles in Indian and international journals. His major works in English include
Father (a Collection of Poems)
The End of Wars (a novel)
and Everlasting Things is an anthology of poems in progress.
His noted works in Malayalam include Dalamarmaram, Paravakaude Vazhi, Prapanchagaadha, Raamazhayude Theerathu and Sajalam.
His poems regularly appear in global magazines like Chewers USA, Masticadores India, and Masticadores Canada.
His works have been published in leading Malayalam magazines
His poetry book ‘Father was published in Oregon USA, won the USA and Canada Catholic Media Association Book Award in June 2024.
He was a delegate to the Panorama International Literature Festival 2024 held in Athens, the capital of Greece, where he won the Panorama International Literature Special Jury Award for the same book and his remarkable literary contributions.
In 2014, the KCBC Media Commission awarded him the ‘Yuvaprathibha’ Award. His novel Prapanchagaadha won the Silver Award in a novel contest conducted by Kreatiff Publications in 2020.
He has written many noted Christian devotional songs. He has also scripted noted Sight and Sound shows like ‘I Believe’, ‘Ammamaram,’ ‘Salam Kalaam’, ‘Sthreetha’, and ‘Operation Hope.’
He works as the Quality and Research Head at Shalom World TV.
He is also the Editor of India and Canada editions of the global literary magazine Masticadores, headquartered in Spain.
Earlier this year, Fraizer was appointed as the Executive Member of Writers Capital International Foundation enlisted in the United Nations’ Civil Societies, which functions with hundreds of members from 87 countries.
Abhilash Fraizer currently lives in Ernakulam, Kerala, India with his wife Sunitha, and sons Ezek Fraizer and Izan Fraizer.
