Thanks a lot for this walkthrough video. Finally they added Camping ... BTW : Pro tools just released a new version 20.11 that supports MPE and Audio 2 Midi I was one of those asking for this feature since Live 10 day 1 betas., and was crazy to see people saying, Camping... nah....we can use session for takes.... lol Now, for Ableton Live, they just need to add ARA2 support to keep their customers happy, and to keep up with the competition. ARA2 for those who don't know is the native/integrated support of Melodyne, Auto Align.... and other huge time saver tools, when editing vocals it make all the different, like Camping.... but am sure they will keep it for Live v12 :D as always !!! Other useful additions we need imho : - a menu to customize the keyboard shortcuts... man there is huge number of Keyboard shortcut now.... - The same feature as "Saving Variations for Macros" but for the Mixer and tracks. A Sort of Mixer Snapshot that helps to try different Mixing / Editing combination easily. a Feature that's available on any other modern DAW nowadays. Finger Crossed

And just like that, ableton has fulfilled many of its work flow editing, peeves, and has got its own version of a multi midi channel piano roll. The plugins are also crazy nice now. Many 3rd party plugins you’d have to recreate using device groups if you didn’t have it are now very accessible within the stock options. Props!

I used to work with Ableton 10 Intro for 3 years. It was time, when I was learning this DAW and I didn't want to spend too much money on it. This year I've switched to Ableton 11 Standard. It was great decision! There are so many features and cool stuff. And I can't focus on doing music, because learning Ableton, shortcuts and trying to figure out best workflow for me is so fun :) Everytime, when I've got some free time, I'm testing some solutions, watching videos like this one and so on. I hope I'll switch to higher version, when Ableton 12 come out :) Thx for this overview.

This is the best value upgrade I've seen in ages, better than 10 (which was good, but left a bit of a sour taste since it was essentially "the VST3 upgrade" and it had a very bumpy start and still has some problems with 3rd party plugins). TBH I was a bit mad when I first saw the news yesterday morning - what, you're stopping on 10.1.25 for a paid upgrade jump?! - but having used the beta all day it's incredibly good. I am a bit biased because I own two MPE devices already, which definitely gets you the most fun out of this, but all that stuff's there to enjoy if you don't mind drawing in your expressions by hand too.
