LGR50 was a brilliant tape - I used it a lot during my time at Radio "Deutsche Welle" in the 90s.

What about the SM468? I've got a couple hundred of those. Love 'em.

Hi, thanks a lot for the video. I have a question. I have several LGR 30 P, can you recommend me an economic player machine? Thanks!

Do those tapes have the AEG hubs? Not sure I know of any low cost machines for those.

Hi, first of all great series of videos. I'm glad you put all auf this information out there. I have a really old real of basf lgs 35 that seems to be on acitate backing. And I'm shure it is lgs 35 because on older tapes they printed type and chragenumber on the tape itself. I have a few oddball tapes including very early test tapes. If those sound interesting, im more than happy to share what i Know about them and mabe send pictures of them. Greetings from Germany Alexander Uth

The LGS had PVC backing, which was also translucent like the acetate tapes. Not may tapes were made with PVC.
