This setup costs only a fraction of what an in-ground system would cost and is also easier to fix in case a sprinkler head fails. I'm definitely going to implement the same setup in my own home. Thank you for the great idea! Cheers!

Dude your the man. 1. Do you keep that up all year round, and for the winter you let it drain out? 2. Why rainbird? 3. Sweet boots (which should be #1.

New system so I'll just be using it as needed with our heat waves. I'll definitely drain it before any freezing temps are on the horizon. Rainbird was easily available (no loyalty to any specific brands). Love my boots!

Great idea…what size are the drip works fittings? Do you plan to bury the pipe?

Well done, sir. I live in the desert, haven't seen a lawn like that in ages. It's impressive.

Thank you! Aside from cutting it every 48 hours, it's super low maintenance.

I live in the desert 🏜 as well and might steal your idea. I might add a automatic timer to cut it on and off to avoid the hassle of manually turning it on.

Automatic timer would be great for regular waterings!

@@whispered_asmr1 I added the Melnor 65141A, 4 zone timer this year and my lawn starts at 4 Am and ends at 6 Am and is all watered when I'm getting up in the morning. No more dragging hoses around or turning on zones by hand.

It looks good. I know some brands allow the distance to be adjustable using the key that came with each sprinkler.

Thanks! Yup, you can adjust the arc and the nozzle diameter to get your desired coverage. These are working great!

Good information. By the way no one is an idiot, just less experienced till you become experienced! I ran all my above grounbd rain-bird 42sa sprinklers in my shrub area around my home and those sprinklers covered and overlapped good and keeps my lawn green all year long in the south

Are you on a WELL ... Or CITY water?.. just curious what kind of water pressure you get and GPM. I am on a well, so I'm considering doing something similar to you.

We are on a well. Not sure what our GPM is since I've never measured. It's good enough though lol
