Oh my. I love your work. It has given me much more confidence to start again as I am a beginner. I realise I am trying to be to perfect for abstract design. Thank you

That is great to hear. Yes I often find when I let go I get some of the best results but its hard to do especially when a painting starts to go well and you dont want to ruin it!

I really enjoyed seeing this! Interesting to see how layering really increases the depth and complexity of it all. Thank you so much.

Your first "experimental" piece is just really gorgeous. It's inspired me to get some aquapasto which until this morning didn't even know was a thing. Something about the colours, composition and layering that is just really pleasing

I like your paintings, could you possibly show us how much aquapasto to paint …I’ve really never used it so if you could show that part that will be great! 🙏💕

Yes!.. I am planning on doing an overview of aquapasto, probably in the next 2-3 weeks. But briefly.. you can add as little or as much as you like. Its really a case of experimentating. The more you add the more ‘viscous’ your paint will become. Though this also depend on how much water you add. I hope this helps..

What tape are you using? I'm searching for a color tape that won't pull up pieces of my watercolor paper. Blue painters tape is too tacky, it seems. I'm legally blind and need tape that isn't white. I need the contrast of color on white paper. I just got my first WN Pro set and a tube of Aquapasto. Excited to watch and play. ❤

Someone has suggested Hahnemühle Masking Tape. I have not used it myself but it appears to be in different colours and it is washi tape so it should be very low tack. The tape I used was unbranded from a local shop and I never discovered the name. I have moved away now so I will most likely try the Hahnemuhle. Good luck and thank you :)

A bit different since the paint remains transparent unlike gouache and I think that it is easier to make marks into the surface. But a direct comparison could be interesting 😊

I realise now that the watercolour keeps its translucency with the aquapasto-it's just a thicker consistency?:-)
@annamabellaedgley

Hello! Yes.. exactly, it remains translucent. In the video linked at the end I added white paint (gouache I think but titanium white very similar) and so it made it opaque. Obviously gouache would also make it opaque. But yes with watercolour its translucent and thicker consistency! 😊
