Great looking video. It's like being there the picture is so sharp and clear. And I like that JD mower, very nice, the DR vac did a great job also.

You have all that nice equipment to make it easy on you. Take a blower and blow out leaves against obstacles so you don't have to bend over and use the hose yourself. Beautiful property 👍

That is a good idea. I will see about it this year

I went with an 8" hose and a bigger Honda motor. I had to fab a new intake manifold to take the 8" hose but it works petty well. Wet leaves are the only problem for plugging. I even put a brick thru it. Wound up with brick dust.

It looks like it works pretty good. I would go slower and take a half cut when the leaves are extra thick and fiberglass that broken plastic when you get time. Also, did you try mowing the leaves on the asphalt? That was a great video. Thanks.

Thanks. I plan on putting aluminum diamond plate over the broken plastic with pop rivets. It does work great and I think it clogs when I mow over sticks as well. I wanted to get some mulching blades as I think that will help. I will try mowing the leaves on the asphalt again, I think it didn't suck them all up last time.

Plastic Welding can repair the cracked plastic. Using soldering iron you can carefully melt and stitch the ABS plastic back together. Do the welding on the inside so it won't be visible.

Thanks for the advice. I will see if I can get it to work then since I have a soldering iron.

If you have not already fixed it, you might want to try that plastic welding kit from harbor freight

That sounds rather interesting. Didn't know they had one. I ended up fixing it with a piece of aluminum diamond plate and some pop rivets from Harbor Freight. I posted a video about it too since there were a good bit of repairs to be made.

You need a deck adapter which is purchased separately here www.drpower.com/Power-Equipment/Leaf-Blowers-%26-Vacuums/Tow-Behind-Leaf-Vacs-/Tow-Behind-Leaf-%26-Lawn-Vacuum-Accessories/Lawn-Deck-Adapters/p/000000000000351553. You then have to cut it to fit your tractor which can be done with a utility knife, but just takes awhile. You may also need more hose depending on your tractor as I think it comes with 6 feet. The best quality hose at a good price is from Flexhaust.

do you have to buy something so you can connect a John Deere to the blower or does it come with it?

I bought an adapter from the company made of hard plastic that you cut to fit. I think it was $100

Yes, I bought it from them. It does take a little bit to cut it to fit to your mower deck. It worked well, but didn't handle hitting trees or rocks lol so mine is currently broken.
