the fact that this was early in their "career" and they knew, or at least recognized, it would be a struggle, and wrote a song about it saying so, and, WOW! they did make it to the top........ legends they are!

AC/DC breaking big in Australia in 1975... This was the 2nd album 'T.N.T.' in Australia and Phil Rudd (drums) and Mark Evans (bass) joined AC/DC after the 1st record 'High voltage' and the chemistry was instant - the band sounded even better 🔥🤘 Mark Evans was replaced in 1977 by Cliff Williams (bass) and AC/DC truly became a force of nature on stage w/ Bon Scott (vocals), Angus Young (lead guitar) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar)... Brian Johnson (vocals) joined AC/DC in 1980 after the unexpected death of singer Bon Scott.

Saw them in 1974 outside the Royal Exhibition building in Fitzroy Melbourne, I was 13 and it was my first concert! ps: Melbourne is the only city in the world to win World's most livable city 7 years running and was recently voted friendliest city in the world. This video was shot in the heart of Melbourne in Federation Square.

Rumor has it that the band had a meeting with record exec's and Bon Scott said he'd like to try and incorporate bag pipes into rock music and the exec's told him you can't do that. Bon Scott replied, "Hold my beer", and this song was born. Don't know if it's true, but it's a great story!

As awesome as this clip is, there is an even more iconic version. I believe shot on the same day, they are travelling on the back of a truck down a road in the center of Melbourne, complete with bag pipes! For another take on this song, watch the absolute legend John Farnham, cover this with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Whole other level of energy.

That's the one off their new album from 2020 called PowerUp....they helped kick pandemic ass when they released this..The songs Realize...it's hard hitting one..and Shot in the Dark..the premiere one..rocks hard..and Through the mists of time..the one you saw is the song from Malcolm Young ,the one that died from dementia..the whole album is dedicated to him but this whole album with Brian back on vocals kicks ass.. Brian's hearing is fixed with new ear monitors and his voice is grest❤ In Oct they play the Power Trip Music Festival in California..think Oct 6 ..a Saturday...if hadn't been a bad 2 years for me if dn sure go man. For my dad gave me highway to hell at age 7..now I'm 45..lost dad in 2017 to bile duct cancer very very quickly ...I did see acdc twice with him though..miss and love you Dad RIP ❤😢I know your rocking when I crank them to 11..lol❤❤
