When I was a teenager, my Dad heard me playing 'Big Balls' in my room, he came bolting in, tore the tape out of the deck, ripped it to shreds and said "I never want to hear you listening to that filth ever again." Rap is exactly the same as every other genre of music! Bloody wonderful! Don’t listen to closed minded people who dis you or your music. All music is subjective, if it’s well done it’s as great as any other style! AC/DC is amazing and us Aussies worship them, they’re like us down to earth.

Good call on the lyrical quality, a lot of people ignore that because the music really draws more attention. But there is absolutely no mistaking what they're singing about, the most thinly veiled euphemisms ever. It was just barely ambiguous enough to get radio play without censorship. Very tastefully explicit.

I think there were several things that turned a lot of people off of Rap. Most rap songs didn't have actual musicians. Most of it was sampled or generated via computer or other backing tracks. Once Rap turned into a gang/thug vibe it also turned people off. Then at one point most all new music used auto tune and beat detector. There were some artist that still did some of their own music or stayed away from the east/west thug thing that still drew fans from multiple genres.

Hells Bells is my favorite drop. Went to a country music festival when Gretchen Wilson was at the peak of her one hit wonderness, 2nd to last act on saturday. Her set had 8 songs in a row from an unreleased album. Crowd was DEAD.... Then we heard the bell, a gong that woke the dead. At a country music concert, the crowd went bananas for a cover of Hells Bells, which got a bigger reaction than when she played her one hit. Never saw AC/DC live, but i would love to be there to hear that bell chime, then it might chime for me.

You would be correct about the car metaphor because Brian Johnson (the singer) is a big car enthusiast along with being a semi pro racer. When he’s not touring, you would find him on the race tracks. I personally have never met him, but I’ve seen lots of interviews with him and I got to say he has got to be the friendliest, sweetest and most down-to-earth guy I have ever seen. He’s the type of guy that you could go to any pub to have a couple pints and recite stories.

In the defense of rock music, they don't tend to objectify woman as much. This song is about a good nights with a good woman, as are most sexualized rock songs. They tend to praise woman more then simply talk about them as objects, most current hip hip does the opposite. Of course when I say that its just a broad generalization but it is over all a true statement and I'm not saying that to bash rap music.

The opening lines set the tone: “She was a fast machine - She kept her motor clean.” Brian Johnson, a car enthusiast, drew parallels between women and cars. In AC/DC’s language, both women and cars move fast, and the excitement lies in exploring different models. The song is filled with sexual innuendos, typical of AC/DC’s style. Lines like “Knocking me out with those American thighs” and “Taking more than her share, had me fighting for air” add to the sensuality.
