Test of an ACA Allertor 125 in Greenfield, WI. This siren is part of the Milwaukee County Outdoor Warning System, and is controlled by Milwaukee County Emergency Management. I was happy to hear the attack signal, which isn't tested often around here.
This siren has a broken rotator, which will likely spell its demise. I decided I had to record it before it gets replaced, most likely by a T-128. Greenfield used to have 3 Allertors, and a P-10, but this and one other Allertor are the only two left. The other two sirens were replaced by ASC T-128's. I hope this one gets fixed rather than replaced.

UPDATE 9/1/10:
To everyone who was interested in the fate of this Allertor: I am sad to say this siren is now gone. It was never fixed, but instead replaced. As of the last week or so, brand new T-128 was installed a few feet from where the Allertor used to stand. I do not yet know what has happened to the Allertor, but I will do my best to find out and acquire it for restoration if possible.
