This series has been the best hiking content I have ever seen. Walter, your skills are beyond compare. You have brilliantly captured the hand of God. The content of this series has left me awe struck. The vistas, the colors, the musical background, all combined to showcase the beauty of this heavenly place. I can’t even imagine how you will ever top this. Thank you, thank you,

I have enjoyed your series so much because you have showed me several hikes that I haven't hiked before in Acadia. These ladder trails are really so unique. It's quite the workout climbing them in addition to the regular hiking portions. Your video had so many beautiful scenes - the carpet of moss, the tall pine forest and the shots of echo lake were some of my favorite parts. Acadia is such a special place. We have visited three different times and I still want to go back.

I could easily fill out another 4 day itinerary of hikes I wasn't able to do on this one. That's one of the amazing things about Acadia, it's a relatively small area with so much going on. It seems to have that alluring effect on so many people where you just can't get enough of it!

So much to see in such a relatively small area, I think you would love it up there, Ryan. You really can't go wrong on any of the interior mountain trails for views and scenery, and avoiding the crowds. The more popular tourist areas are awesome and popular for a reason, so you do have the trade off of dealing with more people. Overall I am proud of the series and what I was able to show - this despite not seeing "everything" on my list - but just goes to show how much is available up there!!! I could easily fill out another 5 part series with places such as Cadillac Mountain, The Precipe, Isle Au Haut, Schoodic Penninsula, and sooo many more...

It looks like you had a nice time in Acadia. I can just look at this scenery all day. Those straight up cliff walls looked really neat. Wow you can really see everywhere on top of the fire tower. Like you said- you can see water and mountains in every direction. I can see why this is your favorite place in the world. I just want to say we appreciate you too. I know how much work goes into these videos. Especially, the editing to make sure everything is perfect. You put your heart in your videos. I see it and all the other viewers see it too. That’s why you are one of the best. Keep on hiking. 🥾👍🇺🇸

Thanks for this comment Craig it made my day. I put my name on the channel so it literally is a representation of who I am, and I long ago decided I would always choose quality over quantity. Every video represents my best efforts, and even though I could save myself a lot of time by cutting corners, I wouldn't have it any other way.

WOWSERS! All the way through it was "stunning"! That forest. I must be there someday. I was already "stunned" when you got TO the tower, but it got BETTER from there. That forest. What is more than "stunned"? That is what I am! Up and down to get those shots is right! but what an awesome episode. The editing, the music, the narrative, your happiness. Thank YOU Walter. Peace & Prayers.

Wow, thanks so much Carol! Pretty much you can't go wrong at Acadia it's such a wonderful place. I discovered that the forest in the second part of the video is some of the oldest trees on the island. Mountains, forests, lakes, oceans, small villages... I would live there in a second! Peace and prayers to you...

So this was the day I had wanted to do isle au haut... But I had seen so much up to this point already and my mother really didn't want me to go, so I chose to spend the time with her. Beech Mountain ended up being a great consolation prize, and I am confident I made the right choice, but man did I want to set out on that adventure... Schoodic Point, The Precipe, Cadillac - which I did see but didn't really film- plenty more for the next trip... I assume you have done Beech Mountain but after I got home I searched " old growth in Acadia" and came upon some info on that last trail section I showed. I knew as soon as I entered it, that section of forest was special, but as it turns out it legitimately is very special. For a guy who loves trees that was just a perfect way to end my last hike....

Absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed this Acadia series. I feel like going in the fall adds to an already beautiful park. Bummer that you couldn't do the Precipice Trail, its an awesome hike. When I did it, it was a rainy, cloudy day, so not the best of conditions but its a fun time. I guess we both have reasons to get back there. Onward to the next adventure...

I didn't want to try it in the rain but probably that first day when I did ocean path would have been my best chance. Of course I could have just done the trail and not filmed it in hindsight. Schoodic Point, Precipe, Cadillac, and the one I really really really wanted to do -Isle Au Haut- bang theres another 5 part series right there lol! Happy travels Ronman be safe out there, and thanks for checking out the series.

Great bookend hike to this beautiful series! I know it’s not had the views your PA based hikes have gotten and as a creator can be discouraging but what you’ve experienced in Acadia and what you’ve created from that experience is nothing less than spectacular and something you should be extremely proud of my friend. And the comments on each video are a testimony to the work and what you’ve created here! Take heart that you’ve inspired, elevated, and thrilled your core audience and my bet is these videos will grow and reach a larger audience very soon. Can’t wait to see what is yet to come and what 2024 will hold for this channel! Take care brother and keep hitting that trail with your head held high!

I really wish there were more fire towers here in Pennsylvania. I mean there are tons of them actually but there all decommissioned and or condemned just rusting away. It's a totally missed opportunity to promote tourism in the state. I love them myself, I'm always looking for hikes that incorporate them. Thanks for watching the series, and happy new year!

AWSOME VIDEO. We are heading back up to Acadia in October, the Beech Cliff trail is one we haven't done yet. It will definitely be on the list. We like to go up to the fire tower in the evening. If you hike to the west of the fire tower toward long pond with Mansell mountain in the distance it is one of the best views of sunset on the island. I am also from PA so I'll have to check out the videos on your channel to see what local hikes you recommend.

Another beautiful video Walter! You really know how to create great content! I could learn a thing or to from your editing skills! Loved the fire tower! I wish I could work as a fire tower lookout. Would be the perfect job! Have you read any Edward Abbey? Great writer who passed away in 89' He wrote an essay called "Watching the Birds" from when he worked as a fire tower lookout at the north rim of the Grand Canyon. There is a You Tube video of it also which I've listened to many times!
